Stockholm Christmas Market is a group of markets. The market at Gamla Stan is set in medieval streets with its crafts and gifts.
Since 1903, the Christmas Market at Skansen has been bustling with stalls selling traditional sausages, cheeses, handicrafts, spices, embroidery, bread and cakes among its many irresistible items. Located on the island of Djurgården in the centre of Stockholm, it was one of the world’s first open-air museums, and showcases a living history of Swedish culture. It’s also home to wild and domestic Nordic animals. Welcome to one of Stockholm’s best-loved attractions. You can even warm yourself in front of the fire and watch the candlelit procession and at Market Street, the kids can join in the dancing games. There is plenty of live music and craft demonstrations. Stockholm offers something all the family.
